Where did you grow up and what did you like about your home town?
Christina: I grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. My city was on the water and that's what I like about it.
Cody: Hazelgreen, Kentucky. I liked that it was in the country.
Do you have any brothers and sisters? Tell us about them.
Christina: I have a sister and I also have a daughter.
Cody: Have two younger brothers that have passed, myself being the oldest. I have two daughters. My oldest daughter is six years old, can skateboard, and she loves bacon. My youngest daughter is about to turn one year old. She seems very musically inclined. She is my best friend.
What is your favorite movie and why? Any particular scene?
Christina: The Truman Show is my favorite movie because it makes you think about how we live. My favorite scene is when it started raining only on him before it rains everywhere else.
Cody: The Avatar movie because of its emphasis on community, nature, and spirituality.
What is your favorite genre of music? Which artist?
Christina: Music from the 70's or 80's. Jim Croce & John Denver are a few of my favorite artists. “Eagle and the Hawk” is my favorite song from John Denver. The song makes you feel like you're a part of something bigger.
Cody: My favorite genre is folk music. My favorite artist is Jim Croce. I can't pick a favorite song because I love most of them. I greatly respect John Denver and the energy and emotion he embodied in his life and in his music.
What is your favorite kind of food?
Christina: Ice cream is my favorite food because it relaxes me and it's cold.
Cody: Milkshakes. They are the first thing that comes to mind.
What is your greatest accomplishment in life?
Christina: Giving birth to my daughter has been the greatest accomplishment in my life. I had moved to Alaska during the pregnancy. I had been working 12-hour days and did not have time for pre natal care nor the money. I gave birth to her in a dry cabin and ended up tearing because I didn't stretch throughout the pregnancy. She was born perfectly healthy and ended up going to the hospital.
For what in life do you feel most grateful for?
Christina: I have been given another year to live instead of dying during birth. I've had a year of laughter, learning new things, and traveling. I've been given a year to grow with my baby as well as my husband. I've been given the opportunity to experience life.
Given the choice of anyone in the world, who would you want as a dinner guest and why?
Cody: Jesus because I look up to him.

Cody: The first three hours after my youngest daughter was born.
