Elijah is a second year student at Florida State University studying Economics. Growing up, he learned a stern sense of dedication and hardwork from watching his single mother raise him and his siblings. This inherited motivation has translated to many portions of Elijah’s life and has inspired him to engage in service helping those who, like him, may have missed out on life experience or essentials due to a lack of financial means.

Outside of Unhoused Humanity, Elijah is involved with his university’s improvisational acting and comedy group (No Bears Allowed), serves on the executive board of the Student Alumni Association, and is an active member of the honors program.

He aspires to go on and eventually earn a PhD in Economics and work in international development with an organization such as the International Monetary Fund, United Nations, or World Bank.
